Gentry loved playing in the snow. He wanted to go outside as soon
as he woke up. It was freezing cold but
he had a great time building a little snow man with dad. I came out for a minute and went back inside where it was warm and snuggled with Brooks. Unfortunately tomorrow we have to check back into the hospital. Gentry has to have his central line replaced again. Hopefully this will be the very last time we have to do this. It would be great to make it all the way through treatment without having to do this again. It is considered out patient surgery so we should be back home tomorrow afternoon. Keep us in your thoughts.

Gentry handled his spinal injection pretty well today. Each time is definitely going a little smoother. Today we came home with a "Cars" backpack. The Batman one was being used by another little boy so Gentry got to be the very first person to use the new Cars bag. We go back on Wed. to get more fluid in his bag and then Thursday we turn the bag back in. This Saturday, Victory in the Valley Cancer Support is having a swim & pizza party for kids going through treatment. We are going to take Gentry so I will get pics of him swimming in his new dinosaur swimsuit. Brooks
had his 2 month checkup today. He is up to 14 lbs!!! I told you he eats a lot. He is in the 95th percentile for weight. The dr. says he looks good and is super healthy. Brooks was definitely mad when he got his shots. It was the most he has cried since he was born. He was fine though as soon as we got back to Gentry & Dad at chemo and he got a bottle. He slept through Gentry's spinal injection which should be hard to do with as loud as Gentry gets. Check out his hair in the pics. It's wild!!!

We had a great spring break. We got to play outside a lot since the
weather was so nice. We also went to the zoo. Gentry loves to check the map to see which animals we need to see next. As you can see from the pictures, Brooks was so impressed he slept the entire time. This week we have a big chemo treatment on Tuesday and Brooks has his 2 month checkup.

We are looking forward to this week since it is spring break. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can go to the zoo. Gentry's first night of soccer last week was cancelled because it was so cold. Gentry's new thing now is whenever we are in the car we have to listen to Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me" super loud because he loves the drums. He cracks us up because we listen to it over and over. Brooks is doing great. Still eating a ton and getting so big every day.

Three months ago today we got the official diagnosis for Gentry.
Wow, how our lives have changed since
then. Here are some pics of Gentry during his chemo treatment yesterday. He is hooked up to a pump with a long tube so he can move around & play. And a great pic of Jerry at chemo!!!!

This is Gentry playing his drums to get Brooks to stop crying. It's pretty funny. We have a big chemo treatment tomorrow including a spinal injection so keep us in your thoughts!
